We are excited to introduce Pawel Brodzinski, Chief Cook and Bottle-Washer at Lunar Logic.

In the lead up to Lean Agile Global 2021, taking place as a live virtual conference on 24 & 25 May 2021, we will be introducing you to some of the fantastic speakers in our lineup.

Q. How would you describe yourself in a single tweet?

A. Leader and organizational designer exploring the challenges that await progressive organizations (and there’s more to that than rosy pictures offered by proponents of new ways of management would tell).

Q. In your opinion why should people come and join us virtually at Lean Agile Global 2021?

A. The event has always been a place where ideas cross-pollinate. It’s one of these communities where mutual sharing and learning is a default. Even in a virtual space, the organizers pay a lot of attention to “the hallway session,” which has always been the best part of the conference.

Q. We want LAG to be a diverse and inclusive conference. What does that mean to you?

A. An honest answer is: I wish I knew. Diversity & inclusion is one of these topics where the more I learn, the less I feel I know. Obviously, participants and speakers coming from different geographies, races, and underrepresented groups are a sign of a diverse event. An event serving well to people with various conditions and needs would be a sign of inclusion. And yet, you can have all that and more, and things still can go south.

Q. Why should people come to your talk at Lean Agile Global 2021?

A. It’s a failure story and everyone loves them, right? In a way, it is a candid retro on ideas I was promoting for years now — radical autonomy and radical self-organization. It’s time to share the mistakes, so maybe others avoid them when they embark on this journey.

Q. What are you most looking forward to after Covid has settled down?

A. More face time with people I collaborate with. More casual interactions when we keep reminding ourselves we all are decent human beings. More smiles and laughs together. Maybe even a pint of beer. Or two.
